Recently, a supposed developer of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order posted information about the game on ResetEra. Those posts were then deleted, but not before they were saved by some people, including Reddit user SchrodingersWitcher, who shared the information on the forum. This potential leak teased that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order would have Sekiro-like combat, but it also potentially revealed who will be portraying the main protagonist. The original leaker posted images of actor Cameron Monaghan portraying Jerome from Gotham, hinting that he would be playing the main character in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order....

As explained by Rikurikumore, the “Super” update is going to be a free expansion for existing owners of the original Street Fighter 5. These fans should expect Capcom to employ a UI overhaul to the brawler with the update, the addition of arcade mode, extra battle mode, as well as a PvE mode against the Illuminati. September 28 falls on a Friday, and is in the middle of the fall gaming rush, so this potential release date isn’t completely unbelievable. However, before fans get too excited at September 28 being the actual Last of Us 2 release date, they should note that this is likely just a placeholder date....

Jason Schreier of Kotaku, well known for his reliable rumor mongering, said today that The Last of Us 2’s release date had apparently been bumped to 2020. It’d be silly to describe the 2020 release date for The Last of Us 2 as a delay given the game never had an officially announced release date, but Schreier did characterize the shifting date as an alteration from previous internal plans. At one point The Last of Us 2 was internally planned to release in 2019....

Twitter user The Snitch, who has accurately leaked industry news in the past, has seemingly suggested that The Last of Us remake release date will be September 2. While this isn’t outright stated by the tweet, the “PART 1” in the tweet seems to point in that direction, as it appears to be a nod to The Last of Us 2’s official title, The Last of Us Part 2. The tweet also includes emojis of a video game controller and a PC, suggesting that The Last of Us remake won’t be a PS5 exclusive when it launches....

Before the Crash and Spyro trilogy remakes, Toys for Bob had a catalog of games dating back to 1990, none of which were similar to Call of Duty: Warzone. The developer had worked on some Disney licensed games, the cult classic Pandemonium!, and a number of Skylanders titles, among others. It seemed that action-adventure platformers with a unique aesthetic were what the company did best. So it was seen as a positive development when rumors began in late 2021 that Toys for Bob might be hiring for a non-Call of Duty project....

Twitter acquired Vine back in 2012, but ended up shutting it down in 2016. While there were previous murmurings about potentially selling the service to another company, those plans never took off. As a result, while the service has been shut down, Twitter still owns the rights and could theoretically restart it whenever it likes. Back in the summer of 2018, Xbox made a statement by adding 5 new first-party studios at its E3 press conference that year. This not only meant new exclusive titles for the platform, but more games from these studios were being made available on Game Pass. 20 games from Bethesda were also recently brought to Game Pass following the Xbox acquisition of ZeniMax Media. Microsoft continues in its quest to add games to its popular subscription service, and industry insider Jeff Grubb has suggested Ubisoft may be the next in line....

As we reported earlier, Microsoft has already put a few choice developers to work on a couple of new projects for their next-generation Xbox console. The list of developers that are claimed to be busy working on these next-gen projects are none other than Rare, Lionhead Studios, and Turn 10, just to name a few. It’s rumored that these devs have already assembled a small team to begin work on the Xbox 720’s future catalogue of exclusive games....

But, while a lot of the focus has been placed on the unannounced mainline fighters for Mortal Kombat X, fans have been constantly keeping an eye out for guest character teases. NetherRealm head Ed Boon hasn’t made that task any easier either, by regularly feeding fans seemingly insignificant teases that could also point towards major guest appearances. He tweets a box of cookies and says Sweet Tooth, and it isn’t long before people start speculating about Sony’s iconic clown making an appearance....

According to GamesIndustry, the service will offer first-party games and would allow third-party publishers to sell back catalog games to players. This new information would seemingly point to Gaikai expanding their model from their demo-only offerings to full games – something that should ease the minds of PlayStation users who only saw Gaikai as offering demos, and farming out the purchase of games to other services. Cloud gaming has been gaining more and more acceptance recently, and with the rumored ability to stream games from previous PlayStation consoles, the function should continue to gain wider acceptance....

Splinter Cell 6 was name-dropped by Jade Raymond last November where she revealed that it’s going to be fully developed by Ubisoft’s new Toronto studio and some speculated that an official reveal would be teased at E3 2011, but it wasn’t meant to be. According to the latest rumor however, Splinter Cell 6 will release next year. The rumor stems from the Czech site, vytukej.cz, who claim that Elias Toufexis, the voice behind the character of Andriy Kobin in Splinter Cell: Conviction, said that the game is nearing completion and that it’ll be ready for release in 2012....

According to VG247, an inside source has confirmed that Sony has given the go ahead to begin development on LittleBigPlanet 3, but this iteration will not be coming from series creator Media Molecule. Instead, Sony allegedly approached the British studio Sumo Digital for this sack-tastic undertaking. Word is that MM is not working on the project because it’s preoccupied with the PS Vita exclusive Tearaway, as well as another mystery project, but both Media Molecule and Sony feel as if Sumo is more than capable of producing a quality title....

Santi Cazorla’s situation at Arsenal is being closely monitored by Atletico Madrid, Valencia and Sevilla, according to Fijaches. The Spain international is out of contract in June and is yet to sign a contract extension with Arsene Wenger’s side. A January move seems unlikely for the 31-year-old given his contributions this season for the Gunners, but cashing in during the winter window could mean Arsenal don’t lose its man on a free in the summer....

GTA 6 is clearly the town’s talk and has been for the better part of the decade, ever since the release of the last game in the series....

Mourinho stated yesterday that he would like to have three forwards at the close of the transfer window. Thus, it makes complete sense for the Londoners to pursue the French international. Remy spent last season on loan at Newcastle United and was their top scorer with 14 goals....

The Liga outfit’s coach, Diego Simeone, has apparently pleaded with the club’s board to resist selling the star striker for another 12 months so he can continue his project at the Vicente Calderon.
