Although Capcom is still yet to announce a Resident Evil 2 demo (if there will be one in the first place), a Twitter user who goes by the name of Anthony Robert posted photos online of what seems to be the menu screen of the upcoming demos. The images show the ruins of Raccoon City as a backdrop with three selections, Leon Demo, Claire Demo, and Options, suggesting that players will be able to play as both Leon and Claire in the preview....

A user on 4chan claiming to have “insider info” on Fallout 76 has shared a number of details about what the game will have in store. According to this 4chan user, Fallout 76 will still be an RPG (despite rumors that it will be an online survival game like Rust), and it will feature the option of having a voiced protagonist or not. The game will apparently have more dialogue options than Fallout 4, with “proper skills” making a comeback....

Firstly, the search for new information on the Montana commercial rumor began after Jason Schreier of Kotaku made the following statement: From there, YouTuber Silentc0re put together a list of new details speculating that the live-action trailer was in fact for a new Far Cry title. While his evidence certainly isn’t concrete, it’s worth taking into account. Today has seen plenty of new information on the impending relaunch of the popular battle royale shooter coming from dataminers plumbing the depths of the game’s files. Not only have they provided the first gameplay footage of Fortnite Chapter 2, they have now given players what could very well be their first look at one of the biggest mysteries they’ve been eager to have uncovered: Fortnite’s new battle royale map....

The leak in question, publicized by Inverse, implies that Genshin Impact will be receiving its 1.1 update on Monday, October 12. While the game has a few bugs that could be fixed in a new update, such as voice lines not matching up with the provided subtitles, that isn’t what players would necessarily be excited about. Supposedly, this 1.1 update will feature a wealth of new content as well....

It’s clear that the IP is still important to Sony as the company is currently working on a TV adaptation of the popular game series. The announcement was made back in 2019, but recently, more news has started to appear online including the casting of Anthony Mackie playing a character named John Doe. According to the latest rumors, Sony appears to be positioning a new game in the long running series to arrive sometime around the launch date of the TV show sometime in 2023....

This news comes shortly after last month’s reports that Activision will delay 2023’s Call of Duty, likely motivated by technical challenges faced by 2021’s Call of Duty: Vanguard. In an effort to continue Call of Duty’s yearly release schedule in some capacity, it is rumored that Activision is looking to remaster older titles and release them on new platforms. There hasn’t been a State of Play since early June 2022, and there are upcoming games that definitely need the spotlight like God of War: Ragnarok. It finally has a release date of November 9, but next-to-nothing in way of gameplay has been shown. Indeed, there’s still plenty of time to show off the game, but the sooner, the better. Rumor has it, though, that the next Sony event isn’t a State of Play, but a PlayStation Showcase....

Like Ingress before it, it looks like Pokemon GO will allow companies to pay for their businesses to be special meetup places for players. And apparently McDonald’s is going to be the first company to be a sponsored location in Pokemon GO, as there is already mention of the fast food chain in the game’s code. Australian student Manu Gill, and Reddit users KcYoung and NeoProfessorWillow can be credited with this discovery....

The leak, unfortunately, stems from 4chan’s Pokemon message board. It stems from a single post with no evidence of being accurate. However, it was posted in February 2020 and made several claims that look like they could now be true, leading some to reconsider its veracity. The claim of the leak is that the list it provides is of the next several Pokemon games to be released, starting with Pokemon Sword and Shield but going all the way through 2022....

According to leaker Millie Amand on Twitter, Visual Concepts is composing a reveal trailer for WWE 2K22’s General Manager mode for either the upcoming Survivor Series or Royal Rumble events. This means that WWE fans who are looking forward to the return of General Manager mode only have to wait a few more months at the most. Survivor Series is set to take place on November 21, while the Royal Rumble is in the New Year on January 31....

The rumors of a Diablo TV show began with a report from Revenge of the Fans claiming Andrew Cosby, writer on the upcoming Hellboy reboot, would head the project. Perhaps due to the sparsity of concrete details and sources, news outlets were shy to report on the early rumors initially. However, a tweet from Andrew Cosby himself seems to confirm that, at least at the time of its writing, Diablo would be made into an animated series and that Cosby would serve as writer and show-runner....

According to the Pastebin post, which was said to be made by a third-party European developer working on a PS5 launch title, Grand Theft Auto 6 is due for release in 2020. It goes on to say that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be a timed-PlayStation 5 exclusive, with Sony paying Rockstar to have exclusivity rights for just one month after the game’s launch. The logic behind this is that if Grand Theft Auto 6 is a PS5 launch title as the leak claims, and the PS5 and next-gen Xbox come out at the same time, consumers would be compelled to go with the PS5 over the new Xbox so they could play the new GTA right away....

Very recently, Walmart.com had a listing for MAG 2 for the PlayStation 3. The cost was listed at $59.82, per Walmart’s lowest-pricing system, so for all intents and purposes this would be a full $60 title. The release date given was January 25, 2011. Sony representatives have not responded to questions, and as of now Walmart.com has removed this listing from their site. The original MAG was developed by Zipper Interactive, who have nothing on their own website about a sequel....

VR World makes this assumption based on information from AMD, which is apparently the company providing the innards of the so-called PlayStation 4.5. While there’s not a lot of evidence backing VR World’s claim, it does somewhat make sense for both the Nintendo NX and PS4.5 to both be revealed at this year’s Tokyo Game Show. We know that the Nintendo NX will not be at E3 2016, and so Nintendo would need a suitable stage to show off their device....

The latest rumor seems to suggest that the next game will once again be brandishing the Forza Horizon banner, only with some decidedly different scenery. If some rumored concept art is to be believed, it appears Forza Horizon 2 might be taking players for an old-timey jaunt through the Deep South.
