Between acquisitions and deals with development partners, Xbox has been ramping up its development and publishing of exclusive content recently. According to this new rumor, it may be publishing a brand new dragon-filled fantasy IP with IO Interactive as the developer under the Xbox Games Studios banner. RELATED: Hitman Reboot Originally Envisioned as MMO-Like Expanding Product The rumors about this new IO Interactive project were initially reported by Windows Central and Eurogamer, but video game insider @Nibellion (who has forecasted things like the new PSVR before it was revealed) has done their part in spreading the news....

According to a post shared over the weekend on 4Chan’s Video Game forum /v/, Kingdom Hearts 3’s next world will be revealed by way of a fresh trailer this April, and it will feature none other than The Jungle Book. If the rumor is to be believed, then Mowgli is going to be a playable party member alongside Baloo, and the trailer will also highlight the characters of Bagheera and Shere Khan alongside footage of a boss battle with Kaa the Snake....

Gamereactor’s Eirik Hyldbakk Furu’s sources say that the Mass Effect Trilogy remaster is scheduled to launch this fall, taking the place of a brand new blockbuster EA game that would usually launch in that time-frame. Furu says that they “wouldn’t be surprised” if the Mass Effect Trilogy remaster was announced at the upcoming EA Play event, which is currently scheduled to take place on June 18 at 4pm PT....

Fans are clearly excited about a new Need for Speed game, if the reaction to rumors is anything to go by. After all, Need for Speed fans swarmed a recent Dragon Age post by EA in a manner reminiscent of the old demands for Skate 4. It’s hard to say which rumors are legit and which have just been cooked up by fans, but there have been some coming from Tom Henderson, a known and reliable insider....

Now, this rumor comes from 4chan, so fans should certainly take it with a massive grain of salt. Even so, there have been accurate Nintendo leaks from 4chan in the past. In fact, there was a huge Pokemon Sword and Shield leak from 4chan that has been proven to be 100% accurate at this point, so potential “leaks” from the site can’t be outright ignored. That being said, it’s always best to treat these kinds of things with skepticism until an official announcement comes from Nintendo....

On the Xbox 360 sales page, consumers can see The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 clearly grouped together with the other backward compatible games, and listed as playable on Xbox One. This seems to indicate that Oblivion and Modern Warfare 3 will be added to the service any minute, but at the time of this writing, neither game is currently playable on Xbox One....

Metro_OW compared the Overwatch 2 release to Fortnite: Chapter 2. For the uninitiated, Epic Games released a significant update for Fortnite dubbed “Chapter 2” that completely replaced the original battle royale map and added a number of brand new gameplay mechanics. Apparently, Blizzard is looking to do something similar with Overwatch 2. This way, it will be able to hang on to the large playerbase it has established with the original game, and it would instantly have millions of players available to play the sequel....

Nintendo leaker Zippo, who has accurately leaked some news in the past (though fans should still take their claims with a massive grain of salt), has suggested that Atlus is preparing to port Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden to consoles at some point in 2022. According to Zippo, these ports will include the Nintendo Switch, though they didn’t specify if both PlayStation and Xbox will be included as well....

The leak, which originated from Twitter account Pokeminers, released the ads alongside other new assets being added into Pokemon GO. According to the tweet, the ad assets are all for Google admob popups. These ads are the typical pop-up ads found in most mobile games, and if consistent with other games, will appear on players’ screens frequently and randomly. According to specifics shared in a since-deleted post on ResetEra that shared details for a supposed job listing, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics’ The Avengers game is set to be a third-person action adventure title that includes “modern combat design” based on “industry trends”. To be more specific, the post had asserted that The Avengers game will apparently feature melee combat, cover shooting, stealth sections, and boss fights. Of course, since a lot of these details can’t be verified in an official capacity, it’s best to take any unconfirmed notion of what Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics’ The Avengers game will have insofar as its combat mechanics and gameplay features are concerned with a grain of salt....

While the original job listing is in Japanese, its translation gives gamers a few pieces of information about the sequel. For starters, the game is reportedly coming to Xbox One and PS4, which is to be expected. Of course, any news regarding The Evil Within 2 should be treated as a rumor until Bethesda or developer Tango Gameworks say something official. It’s just as possible that someone put together a job posting for Psychobreak 2, Evil Within’s title in Japan (think Biohazard and Resident Evil), simply as a form of wish fulfillment....

It’s E3 season, and that means leaks are everywhere. Some of these leaks are likely legitimate, whereas others are fake, and until E3 itself comes and goes, we can’t say for sure which is which. The latest “leak” could really go either way, and it has to deal with THQ Nordic’s E3 2019 plans, which apparently include the revival of the Destroy All Humans franchise and a new Darksiders game....

Microsoft’s possible deal with Activision and Blizzard could mean great things for players as Call of Duty and World of Warcraft could come to Game Pass with their future installments. With the acquisition in play, upcoming releases are not the only thing that players can look forward to, as great things may also be coming back from the past. According to Xbox insider Shpeshal_Nick, certain games from previous generations may finally have their due on current gen Xbox hardware thanks to the acquisition that could clear up licensing barriers....

Although the final roster is by no means bad, everyone has their personal favorite characters that they feel are missing from Marvel vs. Capcom 3. With Jill Valentine and Shuma-Gorath being confirmed as DLC, fans are eagerly waiting to see what other characters will be offered in the future. The rumors are likely to spiral even further as images have popped up that look into the coding for the game....

AC Milan is keen to sign Michy Batshuayi from Chelsea, according to the Daily Mirror. The Blues only signed the Belgium international from Marseille in the summer but he has yet to surpass Diego Costa in the Stamford Bridge pecking order, and the Italian giants reportedly are monitoring his situation. Real Madrid is keeping track of Borussia Dortmund star Ousmane Dembele’s progress, according to ESPN. Dortmund beat a host of European clubs to the signature of the 19-year-old this summer, signing him from Rennes. Barcelona was previously credited with an interest in Dembele and he has said he hopes to play for the Catalan club. Madrid, however, will be hoping it can convince him to switch allegiances if the club decides to act on its interest....

Kallstrom suffered a back injury in his first training session with Arsenal and was subsequently ruled out for atleast 2 months. The back injury that he got while at Spartak Moscow was sustained while playing beach volleyball. He then aggravated the back injury that he suffered a week back at Arsenal.
