Code named “Empire,” 2017’s Egyptian Assassin’s Creed was originally scheduled to be Ubisoft’s 2016 iteration of the franchise. However, after the poor reception of Assassin’s Creed Unity in 2014, Empire was bumped. 2015’s Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, on the other hand, was reportedly too far into development to be pushed further back, but it will apparently be the last Assassin’s Creed released under the annual schedule. AestheticGamer is known for their accurate Resident Evil leaks, and they backed up the claims made by ChaoticClaire, but with a caveat. AestheticGamer believes that the version of Resident Evil 8 described by ChaoticClaire is the one that Capcom moved away from “about half a year ago.” This isn’t the first time that AestheticGamer has claimed that Resident Evil 8 restarted development. However, just because this werewolf game may not be released as Resident Evil 8, AestheticGamer believes that it still has a “high chance” of releasing under a different title....

As spotted on Resetera by user nolifebr, Tomohiro Tokoro, who is a 3D Character Model Lead Artist at Luminous Productions, noted on his since-removed LinkedIn profile that he is currently working on a “New AAA Game for PS5.” Luminous Productions develops under the Square Enix publishing arm, and was created by Hajime Tabata with the purpose of “producing AAA games.” While Tabata can be credited with the creation of Luminous Productions, he announced his departure from the company last week....
