Arsenal and Chelsea are both interested in bringing Ajax midfielder Riechedly Bazoer to the Premier League in January, according to Voetbal International. The Netherlands international, 20, will be allowed to leave Ajax in January, but the Premier League duo will have to pay at least £12.5 million to capture his talents. Bazoer has been labelled the ’new Patrick Vieira’ by the Dutch media, winning the European Under-17 Championship with the Netherlands in 2012 before going on to make his senior international debut as a 19-year-old against Wales in November 2015....

The rumor: The Yankees are interested in trading for Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus as a replacement for Derek Jeter, according to the New York Post’s Joel Sherman. The rationale: At the moment, the Yankees’ depth chart on MLB.com has exactly one player listed at shortstop. That’s Brendan Ryan. Nobody thinks the Yankees are prepared to open their first post-Jeter year with a 33-year-old shortstop who has hit .192 in 294 major-league games over the past three seasons....

Meanwhile, in Italy, negotiations are ongoing t finalise the deal to bring the German, Klose, to the Emirates on-loan. A database listing from GameStop currently shows over 20 placeholder SKUs for untitled games ending in the acronym “NSW” (likely referring to Nintendo Switch), which will likely be revealed during E3 next week. There’s a good chance either the traditional Nintendo Direct video package or the company’s live Treehouse event, which streams during the convention, will be when new games are announced.
