The report comes from Jez Corden of Windows Central, who recently spoke on the subject as part of the Xbox Two Podcast. Corden says that he’s “heard” that Xbox Game Pass subscription numbers have climbed to between 25 and 30 million. When questioned on the matter by his co-host, who says the number has to be above 20, at the very least, Corden counters. He says that the number is closer to 30 than it is to 20....
Continuing forth with its campaign to include multiplayer in every one of its games, Electronic Arts might be adding multiplayer to BioWare’s fantasy RPG series, Dragon Age. How this mechanic will work is as of yet unknown, but early rumors purport that DICE’s Frostbite 2 engine will be utilized and dragons will be playable. The addition of a cooperative mode in Mass Effect 3 can be seen as logical extension of the game’s mechanics....

Now it seems that Sony might plan on cashing in on the popularity of the PS2 by making them available for download on the PSP via PSN. The ability to play PS2 games on the PS3 was a cost cutting measure - and soon speculation sprung up about whether the feature could be brought back with a firmware update. Gamers also speculated that Sony may attempt to cash in on the vast PS2 library by offering them for purchase on PSN....
One big question we have to ask is if this an actual phone with mobile gaming on it by Sony, or if this is simply the next iteration of the PSP with a phone inside. Depending on which way they go will greatly affect the price point of the games. The average price of iPhone games is of course much lower than that for dedicated handheld consoles. Recently, Sony Computer Entertainment America acquired the rights to a domain name called ForsakenSoulsTheGame. The name seems to hint at another sequel to Demon’s Souls - which Sony does have the legal rights to - but the commonly-accepted theory is that it’s the localized name for Soul Sacrifice, which is unrelated to the Demon’s Souls IP, meaning the game could be arriving on Western Vitas either late this year or early next year....

Barcelona have agreed a deal to sign Joao Cancelo on a five-year contract from Valencia, according to Sport. Cancelo has been linked with the likes of Bayern Munich and Chelsea, but Barcelona have reportedly acted now to fend off competition for the Portuguese right-back.
