There’s still no official word from Nintendo regarding the next look at Metroid Prime 4 but Reddit user DasVergeben seems to have a good idea of when the title will be shown off once more. According to the leaker, in-game footage will be revealed early next year, with a Nintendo Direct likely set to showcase what the title has to offer. The leaker, who in the past has correctly announced that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would be coming to Injustice 2 as part of the fighting game’s third DLC pack, claims that Bandai Namco is currently developing the next chapter in Samus Aran’s adventures to be shown off early next year....

That’s according to the CV of professional stuntwoman Laura Mary Kim. When the next generation of video game consoles finally arrives, it will be the Nintendo Wii U leading the charge. The system and its unique tablet controller(s) should have a major presence at E3 2012, though Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Amie promises that Wii U information will be slowly revealed throughout the year. Nintendo has been characteristically cagey about just how powerful the Wii U will ultimately be, but an unnamed “studio source” claims that the forthcoming system will be twice as powerful as the Xbox 360....

Today, a rumor surfaced alleging that Nintendo will launch the Wii U at $299.99 in America – just $50 more than the Wii was when it debuted six years ago. If the rumor proves to be true, that will make Wii U $50 more than the current price of the 160 GB PlayStation 3, and $100 more than the cheapest Xbox 360 option, the 4 GB console. Of course, PS3 and Xbox 360 prices may fall even further before Nintendo’s next system launches, E3 being a popular time for vendors to announce hardware price cuts....

Manchester United has launched audacious moves for four Manchester City scouts, according to the Daily Mirror. In a bid to stop losing ground on City’s superior identification of young talent, United has targeted four of its rival’s talent spotters and offered them pay increases of up to 50 percent. One unnamed scout has already agreed to make the switch to Old Trafford, with the club now waiting on answers from the other three as City attempts to persuade them to stay....
