This £30 million offer is expected to be Manchester United’s third and final bid, which will make Shaw the second most expensive full-back in history, clearly indicating how desperately they want to sign the youngster. United will look to complete the deal before the player leaves for the World Cup in Brazil so it doesn’t come down to a bidding war if he puts in a good performance there....

As with all rumors, this tidbit of Grand Theft Auto 6 information should be taken with a healthy dose of salt. The origin of this rumor appears to be a video by The Know from a few years back and has since re-surfaced online. Tom Henderson of the Long Sensation YouTube channel responded to a question from a Twitter follower regarding how Warzone will feel after the release of Black Ops Cold War. The follower asks whether “the movement and gun mechanics” will change when Black Ops Cold War releases specifically. Henderson responds with a very straightforward statement, one that officially hasn’t been confirmed by Treyarch or Infinity Ward yet. Henderson says that Warzone in Black Ops Cold War is “essentially” the same as Warzone as it is now....

For those that loved the original Hyrule Warriors game, this game has been a long time coming, but for numerous Breath of the Wild fans, having the game serve as a prequel to Breath of the Wild is quite exciting, even if the gameplay does not reflect that of Breath of the Wild....

The latest Grand Theft Auto 6 rumors stem from a report by Xfire, citing Rockstar Games insider Matheusvictorbr. This potential leak reiterates some information mentioned in previous leaks about the game. It claims that Grand Theft Auto 6 will have two protagonists, a male and a female, and that they will be siblings. This new leak adds that a drug cartel killed the protagonists’ parents and caused them to be separated, with the brother growing up to work for the GTA 6-equivalent of the DEA and the sister becoming a prominent member of the cartel....

Reptile has not been playable since Mortal Kombat X, and he had no role to play in the events of Mortal Kombat 11’s story. With the character once again sitting out of the action in Mortal Kombat 11’s Aftermath expansion, and no announcement for a return via the game’s Ultimate edition, it seemed unlikely that players would not encounter the fighter in MK11 at all. However, according to a Mortal Kombat modder Thethiny, there is a Reptile fight hidden in the game....

In 2021, Square Enix announced Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster, a series of remasters and re-releases of the classic mainline Final Fantasy games up to Final Fantasy 6. These remasters would include fully remade visuals, new quality of life features, and even entirely new, rearranged music for each of the titles. The Pixel Remaster releases began with the release of Final Fantasy on PC and mobile on July 2021, and concluded with the release of Final Fantasy 6 on the same platforms in February 2022....

Twitter user @SamusHunter2 pointed out an FCC ID application that was made by Nintendo earlier today for a new “game controller.” While obviously nothing is set in stone until Nintendo officially announces it, the application for an FCC ID looks pretty solid based on past applications for Switch hardware. These rumors stem from two independent sources that spoke with Kotaku UK. Apparently, Capcom is planning on bringing both a boxed and digital version of Okami to PS4 and Xbox One in December, and it will be a port of the HD version of the game. However, it’s unclear if all of the bells and whistles added in the HD release will make their way to PS4 and Xbox One....

Many fans have expected Atlus to be announcing future games, too, with several of the rumors revolving around news of a new port or remaster. One of these was recently revealed at The Game Awards 2021, as a Persona 4 Arena Ultimax remaster is coming to modern consoles. Considering this game continues the stories of Persona 3 and 4, it’s one of the best games to remaster since it celebrates the series as a whole....

According to the rumor, Pokemon for the Nintendo Switch will be called Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee. Apparently the games will be a remake of Pokemon Yellow, with Pikachu as the starter in one game and Eevee as the starter in the other. This would mirror Pokemon Yellow’s starter Pokemon, which saw the player character with Pikachu and their rival with Eevee. Unfortunately for fans who may be intrigued by this concept, or fortunately for those who don’t like the idea, this rumor doesn’t appear to have much merit....

Before moving forward, it’s worth mentioning that most leaks live or die by their source. This Redditor, who created a throwaway account for the sole purposes of this post, claims to have a friend who works at Rockstar as an environmental artist that revealed this information to him. In other words, this is a secondhand leak that any Red Dead Redemption 2 fan could have easily made up, so everything should be taken with the appropriate grain of salt....

When it comes to the narrative revolving around the potential protagonist, the Red Dead Redemption 2 leaker said that the game takes place roughly three years after the previous installment, with Jack attempting to put together “some things he finds in his father’s journal after he dies.” In order to do so, Jack seeks out a few of John’s old friends who go on to teach him some secrets related to his pop’s past....

Last year, developer CD Projekt Red announced an upgraded version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for PS5 and Xbox Series X. The full extent of the improvements and new features is unknown, but it’s probably safe to expect The Witcher 3 to run at 60 FPS, with graphical upgrades in key areas, on the new consoles. This re-release has been delayed a couple of times, and is currently scheduled to launch in Q4 of 2022....

Before breaking down Sonic’s look, it’s worth pointing out this poster’s origins. According to the source Twitter account, this poster was an internal production made prior to the film even being cast. For example, “Officer Tom” in the photo is a photoshopped Chris Pratt, one of the actors the film wanted to explore as a candidate. Pratt was not cast, which just goes to show that this image of Sonic could also be an early version of the character and may have changed....

Released in 2019 to overall critical acclaim, Fallen Order expanded upon the Star Wars universe with the introduction of Cal Kestis, a Jedi apprentice on the run following the rise of the Galactic Empire. The game was praised for its mix of Metroidvania-esque exploration and Soulslike combat, resulting in one of the most unique single-player experiences set in the galaxy far, far away. It’s understandable then that a lot of fans are keen to see more of its follow-up, and frustrated that EA has been silent about Star Wars Jedi: Survivor since its official reveal earlier this year....

At any rate, the claim is that Nintendo will host one of the Direct presentations on February 20 and it will focus on Animal Crossing: New Horizons, whereas the other Direct will be for upcoming Switch releases in general....

Naughty Dog has confirmed that it is working on a new Factions experience, with rumors persisting since The Last of Us 2’s launch about what form it may take. It was at first assumed that Factions would be released as an update for The Last of Us 2, but as more time has passed since the game’s launch, the new narrative is that Factions will be a standalone experience. The latest rumor changes the story yet again, suggesting that Factions could instead be tied to the rumored Last of Us remake project....

For a company that chided Activision about the model when it came to touting their own online Battlelog component, a similar service now would be a prime retrospective example of the pot calling the kettle black. A few weeks and a few more opinions later, however, the picture that’s forming of Battlefield Premium paints it more as a one-time, “season pass” purchase than the Elite-style annual membership. Though EA has yet to comment on Premium, the publisher is expected to announce the package at their June 4th E3 press conference....
