Manchester City will battle Liverpool for the signing of Celtic starlet Moussa Dembele, reports The Sun. The forward only moved to Glasgow from Fulham in the summer but his performances there have already earned him the interest of the Premier League giants. Liverpool are understood to have sent scouts to watch the French forward in action at the behest of manager Jurgen Klopp, who is a big fan. However, City could pip them to £20 million-rated Dembele given their good transfer relations with Celtic....

The report comes from Insider Gaming, which claims to have “sources” familiar with this new aggressive strategy when it comes to Star Wars game releases. It is believed Disney is looking to release two new Star Wars games every fiscal year, with one every six months alternating between a major tent-pole release and “one smaller game.” The report seemingly indicates Lucasfilm Games is on-board with this new strategy, which can already be seen in the number of games currently in development....

The rumor comes from industry insider and frequent leaker Tom Henderson. Henderson responded to a short video from Jeff Grubb saying that EA is working on not just Black Panther, but also an additional single-player Marvel game. Henderson added to this, saying that he’s heard rumors that this second single-player Marvel project at EA is Iron Man. However, he also flags it as “heavily” under the rumor category, as he’s yet to get firm confirmation of the rumor’s validity....

It originated when Reddit user, ThirdeyeReddit, claimed to be an employee of Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games. The user claims that Take-Two is working on a “landing page” for an unannounced game set to be revealed by Rockstar at E3 2019, promising that this game will “blindside” those who are expecting Rockstar’s priorities to lie elsewhere. Of course, this could just be some average Joe since the user is anonymous, but that hasn’t prevented rampant speculation about this announcement, especially since these comments were deleted afterward (screenshot below)....

This leak comes courtesy of Wario64, so it’s likely accurate. Even so, fans should take it with a grain of salt until it’s officially announced by Sony. At any rate, this supposed PS4 holiday bundle will include a Slim version of the console, along with three games. The games in question are The Last of Us Remastered, God of War, and Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition, giving fans three of the PS4’s biggest titles in one package....

Monster Hunter Rise originally launched in 2021 as a Nintendo Switch exclusive entry in the Capcom’s hugely popular Monster Hunter franchise. The game made a number of well-received changes to the established Monster Hunter formula, introduced the Palamut companion, and earned rave reviews from critics at the time of its release. Capcom eventually brought the game to PC, but it has yet to bring it to PlayStation or Xbox, which is curious considering the record-breaking success that Monster Hunter World achieved on those platforms....

Microsoft made a huge impact this generation by offering backward compatibility for Xbox 360 games as well as games from the original Xbox console. Now, if the latest rumor is to be believed, Sony is planning to take a similar approach, allowing for backward compatibility with PS1, PS2, PS3, and PS4 games on the PS5. This rumor comes from AccountNGT on Twitter, who has accurately leaked industry news in the past. According to AccountNGT, a source has told them that the Forspoken release date may get pushed back. Forspoken is currently scheduled to launch on May 24 for PC and PS5, though it’s unclear how far back the game may get delayed if AccountNGT’s information is accurate. Specifically, the rumor states that the Last of Us 2 release date will “most likely” come in fall 2019, something that would certainly be exciting to the myriad of fans that have been waiting for the continuation of Ellie’s story. Whether an attempt to discourage the purchase of used games or just to get a few extra bucks out of players, suffice to say, the method is not a well-received one. Of course, even if it does, God of War fans should definitely take this news as a huge rumor, seeing as how the Portuguese site could just be using it as a placeholder date for the title’s release. Nevertheless, it wouldn’t be too surprising if God of War does go on to be put out on the specific date listed on Gaming Replay’s site, especially since September 14 lands on a Thursday this year, which coincides with the usual release frame of games in Europe....
