If a tweet from WrestleVotes is to be believed, fans could finally have their answer, with the reliable outlet claiming that WWE might be looking to take a break following the release of WrestleMania 36. It no doubt makes sense too, with the company employing a significant roster of stars that currently should be at home self-isolating with their loved ones.

WrestleVotes also claims that, “Rumors around the PC last week were that if the state of FL issued a Stay Home order, which happened today, WWE would reconsider taking a break post Mania,” so clearly it’s a very likely scenario. It seems the notorious post-WrestleMania Monday Night RAW could also be canceled despite already being filmed, with WrestleVotes stating “I’ve been told if they are pausing for a while, some footage shot won’t be aired.”

It remains to be seen what WWE will do after WrestleMania. Some of its top stars are already pulling out of the show to prioritize their health - with Roman Reigns recently revealing that he’d dropped out of his match with Goldberg at WrestleMania due to being immunocompromised - so perhaps the best call is for the company to take some time off and allow its incredible roster to go home to their families during this worrying time.

WrestleMania 36 will air on April 5 - 6 on the WWE Network.
