Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City are all keeping a close eye on Rangers youngster Billy Gilmour, according to The Mirror.

The 15-year-old midfielder was recently scouted by several leading Premier League clubs during a Victory Shield appearance for Scotland’s U-16 side against Northern Ireland.

Gilmour was named Man of the Match in that encounter and should expect to have seen plenty of positive reports filed on his potential.

Jose Mourinho’s United is believed to be leading the chase for his services at present, but it can expect plenty of competition if a formal approach is made to bring one of British football’s hottest prospects south of the border.
